Plein Air Sketch Crawl

Plein Air Sketch Crawl
Hosted by the Florida Chapter
4.5 LUs and 4.5 Credits toward the Certificate in Classical Architecture
Join the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, Florida Chapter for a small group outdoor sketching class with instruction in the architectural styles of the area, benefits of the preservation of historical structures, and plein air sketching techniques. The group will meet at a central location and start with a brief architectural history of the area. Students will then be given approximately 45 minutes to sketch the first composition. The group will move to a second location, receive relevant architectural information, and commence on a second sketch. There will be a final gathering at the end of the day at Grape and Grain Exchange to display the work, discuss in a group, and answer questions.
This event is hosted by an ICAA Chapter. Please check the Chapter website, or contact the Chapter directly, for the most up-to-date details including dates, times, and pricing.
